Faith Burner – From Suffering To Madness

Melodic deathmetal band Faith Burner formed in mid-2018 in the city of Bogota, Colombia, released their debut album. “From Suffering to Madness” is a concept album that explores the inner journey of a fractured mind struggling to survive amidst pain, loss, and isolation. Each song represents a stage of this emotional descent and ascent, from existential paralysis to a twisted form of rebirth in madness.
A beautiful intro with acoustic guitar and piano takes you to 8 songs full with catchy guitar riffs, strong bass lines, hard hitting drums and the powerful voice of their singer Giovanny. What I really like is the groovy touch which perfectly fits the music. It‘s an unique selling point. In the songs Extincion and Killer State, the lyrics are in Spanish language. I appreciate that very much. Even I don’t understand it, I can feel what it’s about.
All in all it’s a very impressive debut album, which I highly recommend to check out.
